Mirja Vogel is an international photographer and photojournalist, currently based in Mexico. 

Originally from Germany, she has over 15 years' experience working as a photographer across three continents. Her work has been published internationally in the likes of BBC, Los Angeles Times, The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, Telegraph Online, Al Jazeera and Mexico News Daily. 

In 2024, her photos taken in southern Mexico during the Muxe festival was selected as one of the 'best photographs of the year' by the Los Angeles Times.
